Kristine Banasik is a womenswear fashion designer based in New York City with an education in Fashion Design and Merchandising from Missouri State University. In addition to her specialized education, Kristine has years of experience within the industry including positions at Ford Models, J. Mendel, Gurhan, and David Yurman. Her designs embody the elegance and glamour of the 1940's and 50’s with a modern twist. Using only the finest fabrics, Kristine is inspired by art, travel, architecture, emotions, and music. While specializing in one-of-a-kind, custom-made and ready-to-wear luxury wrap vests, Kristine believes that you can look beautiful while doing something beautiful. Her mission is to create, feel beautiful, and do something that makes a difference. Kristine mentors and teaches sewing and design at The New York Sewing Center, a school that she founded in 2014.
